Media Center Windows 8

Always on Top

For some strange reason Microsoft decided to remove the ability to set Windows Media Center always on top from within the Settings > General > Startup and Windows Behaviour.

To fix this you only need to change the enableAlwaysOnTop setting in the registry from 0 to 1 and then reboot the computer.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Settings\MCE.PerUserSettings]
"enableAlwaysOnTop"=dword:00000001
